Let's do it again!
OK, so you missed out on all the fun we had Memorial Day weekend at the Dallas Karting Complex. Well, here's you chance to redeem yourself.
The brand new Dallas Karting complex is now open for business!
I'm trying to get the same deal that we got on Memorial Day: $60/person for three sessions - one practice, one qualifying, and then one ten-lap race with a rolling start. Should be about 45 minutes total seat time, give or take, all in the 15 horsepower adult karts.
Please try to be there at 10am. If you've never been there before, you'll have to fill out a profile, and it will take awhile to get everyone paid and grouped up in the system. My hope is that we can have the first practice group on track by about 10:30 am. If you're not there by 10:30, you won't be able to participate with the group. No exceptions, unless there is a lot of under the table cash involved.
Driver's suits are not required, and Mike said that long sleeves/pants are not required either... although I'd recommend a pair of jeans at least. Closed toe shoes are required. You can bring your own helmet or use one of their loaners, although you'll have to bring/buy a headsock if you use one of theirs.
We need a minimum of ten people to get the the group rate and guaranteed races.
