Jason McCall just verified that Amy did win. This is the first year that STU/STU-L is a nationally recognized class, so Amy gets a national champ jacket! Congrats!

            Re: 2007 Scca Solo Nationals

I've de-modded the M3 to an extent as well. Harnesses and race seats are out, harness bar is removed, and the stock (wingless) trunk is back on for good. No more STU for me in a non-turbo car. XP, here I come.

Amy races the M3 tomorrow at the BMWCCA event and might run it for a few more SCCA events the rest of this season, but we're looking at another class for her next year as well. More on another thread...

So de-modding the M3? What's the plan for it now? No, I'm not asking 'cause I want to buy it.

So far the plan for Hancheyand me is to run the V8 E36 in XP. For Amy... we don't know yet, but its not going to be the M3 in STU.

So we'll put in some cushy springs and some AST singles and make the M3 a better street car again, for sure.

Ah, cushy stock rear suspension is in. Stock rear bar too.

Possibly there will be two spots open to run the LS1 car in EM too.

We just noticed that EM was about the same speed at STU. Looks like a great place to run the XP car for grins.

I still can't believe John got me by .001 over two days!! I had a blast hanging with everyone but I was bummed like the rest of us that we ALL didn't do better, Amy not withstanding. Congrats to her on an AWESOME drive on Day 2!! Also, congrats to Fitz for at least representing a bit and getting a trophy.

My synopsis of the event, I need to work on my mental game to put it all together...
