    Re: 2006 Solo Nationals

I wish we had a few more months to prepare. Not sure we're ready for Nationals this year.

Hehe, uh.....ya. That one. Car still needs tuning. We're inching up on the TeucciSan setup. Car turns in now, puts power down coming out of corners, four wheel drifts in constant radius. HUGE improvements over what it was doing last year. Last year (and this year) it plowed everywhere except in big transitions which is why we did well Day 1 and bad Day 2. It was a one trick pony for sure. Problem is the drivers are still one trick ponies.

27 registered in STU Open, 4 in STU-Ladies... check here

Hanchey is signing up next, so that'll be 28. Sure thought there would be a lot more than that! Henry Lin has no co-driver... ?

We're getting a hotel room at the Hampton now... be there Monday and leaving Thursday. Hanchey got signed up for the Sunday practice, but 3 people staying 2 extra nights in a hotel/away from home for 3 lousy practice runs for $40 didn't seem worth it.

Anyone know where Spokes will be squatting in the paddock? http://www.scca.com/_FileLibrary/File/sitelayout.pdf

Well, the class "winner" hasn't even signed up yet so I'm sure there will be more to come.

MeL and I are getting there on Saturday, running the practice on Sunday, chillin on Monday, etc. We got in the Super8 so we'll be pretty close to the track.

Speaking of the paddock, do I need to reserve any spaces for anyone since I'm getting there early?

I'll be there sometime Monday, if you don't mind getting me a paddock spot with you guys. I'm with Terry, we need to be close to the Spokes Biergarten. Does anyone know if we're allowed to have a grill out there?

Nope, I can't justify being gone for an entire week and sitting around in Topeka half way thru that. We're going to the Netherlands in November too so we have to figure that into our time off.

I can't believe that my Vorshlag brethren let me down and allowed Mark Sipe to get 40 points for the Pro Finale....I'm disappointed

Sorry Mike, I sucked at Denver, couldn't launch the car on a hill with sticky concrete. I was really happy with my driving but 2.3s 60' wasn't cutting it. =/

35 in STU open. Only 6 BMW drivers??? I'm feeling a little out numbered!

                              Don't feel too bad. There's only 3 RX8 drivers

That's it. The seats are definitely going in!
