Saw this on corner carvers moments ago! Dec 20th to 24th Lowes has the 60 gallon Kobalt compressor on sale for $299.
This is a real deal, oil bath (not oil-less!), cast iron cylinder, big tank, 220V compressor that is up to the task of heavy home/hobby use. I bought a similar one from Lowe's over 12 years ago (for about $300) and its still going strong. An investment you will probably use and cherish for 30 years!
So if you don't have a good air compressor (PAUL) and you want to save money (PAUL) and you could use the full extent of a good 2-stage, 60 gallon unit (PAUL), go to Lowe's website and search for a store near you that has that part number in stock. Then call to verify. They buy it and get it home! We can worry about wiring and other details once you get it.
