Obfuscation usually requires a lot more words than if you simply focus on fundamental principles, so I’m not at all surprised by the loquaciousness of liberals.

Methinks the BMW guys just got a new STU tire.

Why would you think that's better than the RE01R? It is 140 treadwear too.

Duh, I didn't realize that is what comes on a Subaru. OK, yeah, that tire rocks. Like I always said, if you guys had a 245, that would be a hot tire.

Heck yeah they rock... If a 255 could stretch across the STi wheel I'd seriously contemplate getting those for my next set of tires. Why can't they make them in other sizes that'll fit my car!?!?!?!?

Tirerack only sells them in 225/45-17. They're considered an ultra high performance tire, not the theoretically better max or extreme tire. It's an old tire and I don't really see them being better than the RE-01R. That and it's $163 vs. $144 (which went up $6 in the last week!!) for the RE-01R. The RE070 is also 1lb. heavier.

The surveys aren't scientific, but there are even other UHP tires that are rated better in the dry...

That's cause you never drove a set. Trust me, they are the shiznet.

Probably the same compound as the RE-01R but with a better sidewall and better tread pattern. Only problem is that they come in only one size. If the S2000 comes with them OEM then they will come in 3 sizes.
